Waxing
Waxing for intimate area's, face and body.
Service Description
Waxing tips - Hair should be about 1/2cm and 1cm long. Use hair clippers to trim longer than 1cm - as too long makes it difficult to remove Ensure that the area is clean and exfoliate the day before waxing to remove any dead skin (but not on the day of your waxing appointment). Exfoliation helps wax grab hair and not skin, but it can also leave skin more sensitive to pain, so lighter is better. Wear old, loose easily washable underwear (for intimate areas) alternatively you will be provided with disposable G-string underwear. There can be a difference in the amount of pain experienced before and during menstrual periods, the skin is much more sensitive. Ideally, book treatment after period, not before or during. After Care Waxing - A light buffing in between waxes helps keep the hair follicle free of dead skin cells so you're much less likely to develop pimples or ingrown hairs. Moisturising and keeping skin hydrated makes it soft, supple, and healthy. Not to mention, it also alleviates the itchiness that tends to happen when the stubble starts coming in. For the first 24 hours after a waxing session, stay out of spa's, saunas or chlorinated water like swimming pools. Avoid touching the waxed area and if you need to do so, always wash your hands. Like any part of your beauty and personal care routine, waxing requires some maintenance and discipline. You'll get the smoothest results if you stick with it.
